Arjun Kapoor has some thrilling initiatives within the pipeline. The actor is at the moment working on The Ladykiller and even selling Ek Villain Returns. Amidst this lineup, he can even be working with Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaaj’s debut venture Kuttey. In a latest chat with Mid-Day, Arjun opened up about becoming a member of arms with a novice director.
Speaking about his initiatives, he mentioned, “I’m trying to strike a steadiness. That was what prompted me to (signal) ‘The Lady Killer’ and ‘Kuttey’. I joke with Aasmaan, saying, ‘Baap ne Kaminey banayi, beta Kuttey bana raha hai’.”
However, Arjun added that it was Aasmaan’s unique voice that drew him in direction of the venture. Even although director-father Vishal Bhardwaj’s affect could also be looming massive, Arjun mentioned, “When Vishalji and Aasmaan narrated the film, what drew me was that he wasn’t trying to ape his father. There is memory of the learnings he has had from his dad. The father-son have overlapping qualities. Vishalji has been an concerned producer.”
The film titled Kuttey can even see actors Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, and Konkona Sensharma. Heaping reward on Vishal Bhardwaj, Arjun Kapoor mentioned, “I used to be shut to working with him up to now, nevertheless it didn’t work out. His power and atmospheric storytelling is inspirational. When you’re surrounded by such folks, you aspire to chase high quality and never simply commerce. Vishalji is a good listener who permits a dialogue and takes your inputs. With Ek Villain Returns, The Ladykiller and Kuttey within the pipeline, seems like Arjun Kapoor has a packed 2022 and 2023.
