Actor and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies has acquired the Tamil Nadu distribution rights of director Ajay Gnanmuthu’s eagerly awaited motion thriller ‘Cobra’, which options actor Vikram within the lead.
Making the announcement on its Twitter deal with, Red Giant Movies mentioned, “Thrilled to announce that Red Giant Movies have acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical distribution rights for Chiyaan Vikram‘s ‘Cobra’. Save the date. ‘Cobra’ from August 11.”
‘Cobra’, which took shut to 3 years to film, has triggered rather a lot of curiosity amongst audiences as it’ll mark the performing debut of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who performs the villain within the film.
Vikram performs an excellent mathematician who makes use of numbers to unravel crimes within the film, which options Srinidhi Shetty as the feminine lead.
The film has cinematography by Harish Kannan and music by A R Rahman.
